Tesla Art Fest set for Sixth Street Arts Alley

Creative types can shift into a different gear Saturday while helping a local artist celebrate hitting 100,000 YouTube subscribers.

Ryan Murray, is poised to bring art enthusiasts and community members together for a free gathering that he’s calling a Tesla Art Fest from noon to 3:30 p.m. Saturday on the 6th Street Arts Alley in downtown Columbus.

The event is set to commemorate Murray’s RMDesigns’ YouTube channel reaching 100,000 subscribers.

Murray’s Tesla will serve as a canvas as attendees draw and make their mark on the vehicle while being featured in Murray’s celebratory YouTube video. Ryan will give away custom-designed T-shirts to participants, and the event will feature Sno Biz snowcones, music, and a bounce house.

Murray is an artist who reimages cartoon characters into new situations. He creates a new context for pop culture icons by drawing on everyday objects such as dollar bills, laptops, and sneakers.

His work is documented and promoted through his popular YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok accounts, where he engages a global audience.
