Columbus police officers arrested three people after observing suspicious activity at a Columbus home on Saturday evening.

At approximately 7:35 p.m., CPD officers observed a vehicle pull behind a residence in the 1700 block of Union Street.

Multiple people exited the vehicle and one of the occupants, later identified as Tyrael C. Washington, 27, of 777 McClure Road, Columbus, ran inside the residence. The officers confirmed multiple Shelby County warrants for Washington’s arrest and he was taken into custody a short time later without incident, said Lt. Officers also arrested two additional wanted people inside the home. Duane R. Edwards, 42, of 720 Pearl St., Columbus, and Christina C. • Duane R. Edwards: Orange County warrant
  • Christina C. Wilson: Bartholomew County warrant
