NORTH VERNON — Jennings County jumped out to a 52-0 halftime lead and went on to post a 60-0 football win against Brown County Saturday morning.
Parker Elmore completed 6 of 7 passes for 105 yards and three touchdowns and intercepted two passes on defense, and Branden Braun carried five times for 62 yards and two scores and caught two passes for 41 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers (2-0). Cole Sigler ran for a score, and Lane Kirchner and Sam Burkman caught touchdown passes. Jennings’ other score came on a 32-yard fumble return by Brandan McCory.
Noah Lewis completed 6 of 19 passes for 55 yards for the Eagles (0-2), who were held to minus-38 yards rushing.
