BEDFORD — Columbus East took three of the matches to three sets Tuesday, but Bedford North Lawrence prevailed in each in a 5-0 boys tennis decision.
Erik Takahashi fell to Jayden Kemp 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Brady Redelman lost to Orion Hill 7-5, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and Owen Kirk fell to Braxton Fugate 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (2-4).
East’s Iynigo Tan and Henry Ulrich lost to Neal Patel and Jackson Corey 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles. Tyler Ernst and Trevor Ernst fell to Gavin Baker and Drew Stephenson 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (5) at No. 2 doubles.
