No. 1 Greyhounds slip past No. 3 Bull Dogs

INDIANAPOLIS — Third-ranked Columbus North won the No. 1 singles spot and had chances to take a set at each of the other four positions in a 4-1 boys tennis loss to No. 1 Carmel on Tuesday in a match played at Southport.

Hank Lin beat Braedon McIntyre 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles for the Bull Dogs (2-1).

North’s Parth Shah fell to Wesley Worobel 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles, and Austin Clark lost to David Liu 7-5, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram fell to Jonathan Tang and Michael Bao 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, and Michael Crossman and Yoki Murabayashi lost to Andrew Kim and Grant Mu 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
