BEDFORD — Ruth Federle and Kira VanValkenburg and each scored three goals Tuesday to lead Columbus East to an 8-0 Hoosier Hills Conference girls soccer win at Bedford North Lawrence.
Taylor Scott netted a goal and two assists, and and Natasha Armstrong added a goal for the Olympians (2-5-1, 1-0). Nadia Harris recorded two assists; and Federle, Kylie Hatcher and Sophie Glick all had one assist.

East outshot the Stars 16-2. Kate Stiles recorded two saves.
