SEYMOUR — Jennings County won the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches Tuesday, but Seymour took the other three to pull out a 3-2 boys tennis victory.
Parker Bales beat Parker Thompson 7-6 (1), 7-5 at No. 1 singles for the Panthers (2-8). Ryan Schuck and Ty Zohrlaut topped Shun Takeuchi and Bryson Busby 6-1, 7-6 (0) at No. 1 doubles.
Jennings’ Isaac Lightner fell to Carter Stein 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Rider Ruddick lost to Joel Stevens 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Brady Sentz and Cole Skinner fell to Drew Handloser and Xavier DuBois 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
