BEDFORD — Bedford North Lawrence won four matches in straight sets in handing Jennings County a 4-1 defeat in the opening round of the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament.
Ryan Schuck and Ty Zohrlaut beat Drew Stephenson and Neal Patel 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles for the Panthers (3-12).
Jennings’ Gavin Low fell to Jayden Kemp 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Isaac Lightner lost to Orion Hill 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Cole Skinner fell to Isaac Bridges 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Brady Sentz and Rider Ruddick lost to Gavin Baker and Jackson Corey 7-6 (4), 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
