Youngsters age 5 and younger will have an opportunity to explore big trucks and more at the annual Touch-A-Truck event Thursday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Clifty Park, Indiana Avenue at Marr Road in Columbus.
Event organizers said more than 20 modes of transportation will be featured, including a firetruck, police car, helicopter and a hot air balloon, among others.
The free event is sponsored by Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. and Family School Partners, in partnership with Toyota Material Handling, Columbus Parks and Recreation, Council for Youth Development, Community Education Coalition and Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus.
