SEYMOUR — Class A No. 5 Trinity Lutheran ran into one of the state’s top teams Thursday in a 25-17, 25-20, 25-15 volleyball loss to 3A No. 2 Providence.
Carson Bowling recorded eight kills and one ace, Addie Darlage had 26 assists and one ace and Laura Roeder notched 28 digs and one ace to lead the Cougars (15-11).
Also for Trinity, Madison Keith pounded seven kills, and Drew Hubbard added three kills. Roeder tallied two assists, and Darlage and Kiley Zabel each collected eight digs.
