GREENWOOD — Greenwood jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead Friday and went on to hand Jennings County a 43-12 loss in a Class 4A sectional semifinal.
Lane Kirchner caught a 23-yard pass from Nathan Harrison, and Likilei Hifo caught a 12-yard pass from Sam Burkman for the touchdowns for the Panthers (4-6). Harrison finished 8 of 13 for 142 yards.
Branden Braun carried 12 times for 47 yards. Kirchner caught three passes for 78 yards.
