INDOT schedules work in Jackson County next week

JACKSON COUNTY Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to conduct three daily closures to begin culvert replacement work in Jackson County, starting next week. Each closure is expected to last up to one day, weather permitting.

The daily closures are currently scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, Nov. 13 (weather permitting): State Road 258 at mile marker 10 between Seymour and Cortland from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14 (weather permitting): State Road 258 at mile marker 3 between Freetown and Cortland from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 15 (weather permitting): State Road 235 at mile marker 6 between Medora and U.S. 50 from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
