ST. LEON — Columbus East snapped a four-game losing streak with a 36-25 girls basketball win at East Central on Wednesday.
The Olympians (2-4) led 23-21 before outscoring the Trojans 13-4 in the final period.
Jenna Guse scored nine points, and Madelyn Poe added eight to lead East. Victoria Cuhadar hit two big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to score six points and help the Olympians pull away.
