Crusader boys notch first win

Columbus Christian picked up its first boys basketball win of the season Friday, an 82-40 win against Stone City Christian from Bedford.

The Crusaders (1-1) jumped out to a 22-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

Peyton Walden led Columbus Christian with 23 points. Josh Conrad scored 16, Cam Pritchard had 12 and Branson Carr added 10.
