NORTH VERNON — Class 4A No. 8 Jennings County raced to a 32-2 lead after one quarter and led 55-10 at halftime on its way to an 83-22 Hoosier Hills Conference girls basketball win against New Albany on Saturday.
Mollie Ernstes scored 14 points to lead five Panthers in double figures. Juliann Woodard scored 13, while Avynn Belding, Maddie McInotsh and Alivia Elmore all scored 11. Etta Young added eight for Jennings (9-1, 3-0).
