SCOTTSBURG — Class 3A co-No. 7 Scottsburg jumped out to a 26-8 lead after one quarter Saturday and went on to hand Columbus East a 74-51 boys basketball defeat.
Alex Duncan led the Olympians (3-4) with 12 points. Mason Reeves scored 11, Ethan Bumbalough had 10 and Carter Patterson added eight.
Keaton Lawson led East with four rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Bumbalough notched four steals.
