Columbus Redevelopment Commission — 4 p.m., City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus.

Teen Advisory Board — 4 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Help brainstorm ideas for winter and spring programming. All time spent in TAB meetings counts for volunteer/service learning hours.

Pokemon Club — 4 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Card collectors, trainers, gamers, and fans are all welcome to join as we learn and talk about all things Pokemon.

Alzheimer’s Support Group — 4:30 to 6 p.m., First Lutheran Church, 3600 25th St., Columbus. Welcome all those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. It is not appropriate for dementia patients. Please enter the church through the Fellowship Hall entrance at the east end of the parking lot.

Propeller LEGO CLUB — 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Come join Propeller’s ever growing free and open for all ages Lego Club. In the month of December, we will be building holiday themed creations, serving hot cocoa, and watching holiday movies.

Winter Solstice Storytime and Craft — 6 to 6:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Kids and their families are invited to join us for a Winter Solstice Family Storytime. We will read about ways to celebrate the winter solstice and make lanterns to take home and light up the longest night of the year. Registration is requested.

Adults Reading YA Book Club — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Ru Yi, 2125 W Jonathan Moore Pike, Columbus. Read Soman Chainani’s version of several fairy tales in his book, Beasts & Beauty. Come prepared to share which stories you liked and which ones you didn’t. Appetizers courtesy of the Friends of Bartholomew County Public Library.
