Joyce Kay English, 82, of Columbus, passed away at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Brown County Health and Living Community.
Joyce was born April 19, 1941, in Attica, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Della Noland Beavers. On May 7, 1960, she married John W. English.
Survivors include her sons, John C. (Niccol) English, Jeff D. (Teresa) English, Joe A. (Katrina) English; grandchildren, April (Garrett) Halloway, Dustin English, Michael (Tasha) English; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Padgett, Noah Padgett; brother, Jim Beavers; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John and brother, Dave Beavers.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Bill Stillinger officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A live stream of the funeral service may be viewed at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at barkesweaverglick.com.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery next to her husband John in section 51.
