Olympians fall to Marauders

FORTVILLE — Columbus East was within 23-21 at halftime Friday, but Mt. Vernon outscored the Olympians 27-9 in the third quarter to pull away for a 65-44 boys basketball win.

Ethan Bumbalough led East (3-6) with 22 points. Keaton Lawson added 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals; and Carter Patterson had eight points.
