10:15 A.M. UPDATE

A water outage in the Elizabethtown area is affecting the following area: South County Road 500E, East County Road 600S, and East County Road 700S, Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation reported Thursday morning.

Once the water service is restored, customers in the area will be under a water boil advisory for 48 hours, the utility said, adding crews were “working hard to have the water restored” by 1 pm today. The utility said the outage resulted after a water main was hit by an outside contractor.
