Area bicyclists were urging Bartholomew County officials to add bike lanes to County Road 325W, which they considered a major route on the west side of the city.

1999

Buses were finally back on the roads and school was back in session for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. after Christmas vacation was lengthened by two days due to weather-related cancellations.

A staff member of the regional health planning council suggested four systems of ambulance or emergency medical service in Bartholomew County in a 62-page study he presented to the county commissioners.
