Kent led the Panthers with 30 points in Friday’s 69-61 win against Brownstown Central and again in Saturday’s 73-66 loss at Center Grove. He broke the school’s career 3-point record in the process.
His performance last week: “We beat Brownstown Central, and nobody thought we were going to beat them, so it was good to get one of the better teams in the state. I thought we played pretty well and grew as a team, as well, against two of the best teams in the state.”
Do you do anything special to prepare? “I try to take a 10- or 20-minute before the game.”

Avery Johnson
Johnson led the Bull Dogs with 21 points and grabbed four rebounds Saturday in a 64-55 win against Bloomington South.
Her performance last week: “I feel like I played with confidence, and I wanted to just do my part and help the team win.”
Do you do anything special to prepare? “Most of the time, I just listen to music and talk and joke around with my teammates in the locker room.”
