Jets clinch at least a share of MHC title with road win

SHELBYVILLE — Hauser clinched at least a share of the Mid-Hoosier Conference boys basketball title with a 64-37 win at Southwestern (Shelby) on Thurday.

The Jets (13-4, 5-0) jumped out to a 40-15 halftime lead and cruised from there.

Alex Cord and Gavin Keller each scored 15 points to lead Hauser. Kam Blair scored 12, Taeshaun Tungate had eight and Ledger Gelfius added seven.

Hauser can win the MHC title outright with a win against Waldron on Feb. 20.
