Bull Dogs win tri meet

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus North posted its second-highest score of the season Tuesday in picking up a tri-meet win at Roncalli.

The Bull Dogs scored a 106.1. Roncalli finished second with a 100.2, and Kokomo’s one gymnast had a 33.9.

Reese Euler recorded a season-best 37.4 in winning the all-around competition. She swept the vault (9.425), bars (9.45), beam (9.1) and floor (9.425).

Hannah Perry finished second on the vault (9.05) and bars (8.45), third on the beam (8.325) and fourth on the floor (8.875) on her way to a second-place all-around finish with a 34.7.

Emerson Chambers placed fifth on the bars (8.2), sixth on the beam (7.875), fifth on the floor (8.675) en route to a fifth-place all-around finish with a 33.125.

Ellie McIntier took third on the vault (8.975), fourth on the bars (8.25) and sixth in the all-around (32.875). Laney Acton was third on the floor (8.9) and sixth on the vault (8.7).
