Always Ready for Chocolate fundraiser is Saturday at The Commons

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Arc of Bartholomew County, a local nonprofit organization, will host its annual Always Ready for Chocolate fundraiser on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Commons in downtown Columbus.
Desserts from local vendors including Geri Girl Bakery, Lucabe, local non-profit providers, and many more will be available at the event, as well as live entertainment from local groups and artists, including Dancer’s Studio, Albert Nolting, Violinists, and Allie Jean. Also available will be an art show and auction featuring works by artists with disabilities.
General admission tickets are $25 and $15 for children ages 6-12, which include unlimited dessert tastings. VIP tickets are $50 and $25 for children ages 6-12. VIP tables, which include tickets for eight people, are also available. Direct Support Staff (DSP) can enter the event for free if they are assisting a client, but may not sample desserts without a ticket.
All proceeds from the event will support The Arc of Bartholomew County and its mission to promote and protect the human rights of individuals with disabilities and support their inclusion and participation in the community.
