SEYMOUR — Brown County scored two runs in the top of the sixth to break a 1-1 tie and held on to post a 3-1 softball victory Friday at Trinity Lutheran.
Ava Sanders threw a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and did not allow an earned run for the Eagles (7-13).
Grace Lance threw a four-hitter and struck out 12 for the Cougars (12-11).
