INDIANAPOLIS — Blake Borkhardt homered in the top of the first to give Columbus East an early lead Monday, but Southport rallied for a 6-4 baseball victory to close the regular season.
Marcus Wilkinson went 2 for 3, and Jackson Watkins had a double and two RBIs for the Olympians (9-17). Watkins, Eli Tindell and JD Rotert combined on an eight-hitter.
