Solid Waste Management District Board — 9 a.m., Governmental Office Building, 440 Third St., Columbus.

Library Babies — 10 to 10:30, 10:35 to 11, and 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Library Babies is geared toward children birth to 18 months and their caregivers. To register, call the children’s desk at 812-379-1288.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons — 3 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Complete a job for Queen Imreera Hethkantan and she will reward you handsomely. Create a level 5, fifth edition character prior to the game or use a pre-created character. This game is beginner-friendly. All materials provided. Registration required.

Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Stop by after school and join us for some laid-back fun as we play our way through our collection of board, card, and dice games. Game selection may vary.

Teen Thursgame — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Every Thursday after school, play games including Dungeon Party, Unstable Unicorns, Wizard Kittens, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, Here to Slay and more.

Open House — 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Family-friendly event including STEAM activities, food truck, live music, crafts, inventions and more! Come see what we’re making. Free to attend (some activities will have a fee).

Mindful Meditiation — 6 to 7 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn tools to down-regulate and relax your body and mind in this class with yoga instructor Michelle Flynn. Leave with a list of techniques, including meditations, breathing exercises, and gentle neck, spine, and shoulder stretches. Beginners warmly welcomed.
