Bartholomew County

Library Babies — 10 to 10:30, 10:35 to 11, and 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Library Babies is geared toward children birth to 18 months and their caregivers. To register, call the children’s desk at 812-379-1288.

USDA Summer Food Service Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Food must be eaten on site and folks are not permitted to leave with the meals. Meals are free for children 18 years of age and under. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase a meal for $4.70.

Teddy Bear Love Fund — 1 to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This event is for volunteers to stuff animals for to be delivered to area children’s hospitals.

Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Stop by after school and join us for some laid-back fun as we play our way through our collection of board, card, and dice games. Game selection may vary.

Teen Thursgame — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Every Thursday after school, play games including Dungeon Party, Unstable Unicorns, Wizard Kittens, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, Here to Slay and more.

Family Exercise and Movement Storytime — 4:45 to 5:15 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 4-10 and their friends and family are welcome to join in and have fun with guest Ruth Bayardo. Participants will get up and moving, as well as learn about exercise and other wellness topics. Sessions may also include stories and other activities. Dress comfortably for movement.

Sugar & Spice Romance Book Club — 6 to 7 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join a group of romance readers to discuss your latest read. No specific book to read. Just read what you like and hear about new books for your “to be read” stack. All genres of romance are welcome.
