Columbus Signature Academy New Tech, Hauser, Columbus North and Columbus East held their commencement ceremonies, and 934 seniors turned their tassels on their high school careers.
1999
Southside Elementary School third-grader Andrew Stinson took photos of every animal at the Bartholomew County Humane Society to show his class in hopes to get them adopted. Along with the photos, he set up a donation box during lunch and raised $75.85 for the humane society.
1974
The Columbus branch of the American Association of University Women announced the winners of their 1972-73 creative writing project, and handed out 147 certificates. The 13th annual awards program was held in the Red Room of Cleo Rogers Memorial Library.
