NASHVILLE — Brown County opened its boys tennis season Tuesday with a 4-1 loss to Martinsville.
Trevor Shields and Jax Burt beat Jaimson Crabb and Clay Crismore 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles for the Eagles.
Brown County’s Owen East fell to Carter Dawson 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Robert Webb lost to Keller Boyd 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Audric Dunn fell to Landon Huston 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Jax Anderson and Logan Peck lost to Hayden Murphy and Vincent Rush 6-0, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles.
