HOPE — Hauser opened its boys tennis season Tuesday with a 4-1 loss at Shelbyville.
Kam Blair beat Kashton Laycock 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles for the Jets.
Hauser’s Hunter Pappano fell to Reece Prickett 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Graydon Kilps lost to Kody Sellers 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel fell to Wyatt Armstrong and Aiden Smith 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Jayden Blair and RJ Foster lost to Owen Hartman and Jackson Van Wye 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.
