ELLETTSVILLE — Brown County got off to a slow start Thursday in a 25-4, 25-8, 25-18 Western Indiana Conference loss at Edgewood.
Grace Johnson led the Eagles (0-2, 0-2) with four assists and four aces. Aubree Denton pounded two kills, Ella East had two blocks and Zoe Jackson notched 12 digs.
Also for Brown County, Johnson recorded 11 digs, Hailee Darnell tallied one kill and five digs, Emmy Oswald had one kill and Denton added one block.
