NORTH VERNON — Jennings County opened its boys soccer season Saturday with a pair of close losses in its own round-robin.
The Panthers fell to South Ripley 1-0, despite outshooting the Raiders 18-7. Deken Simpson recorded six saves.
Jennings lost to Rock Creek Academy 5-3. Kaleb McIntosh, Berkley Foist and Brody Ertel scored the goals. Ertel had an assist, and Simpson posted seven saves.
