NORTH VERNON — Jennings County came close again, but Greensburg pulled out a 3-2 boys tennis victory.
Parker Bales beat Mason McNulty 6-2, 6-0, and Ty Zohrlaut topped Jake Duersock 4-6, 6-4, (10-5) for the Panthers (0-3).
Jennings’ Luke Napier fell to Dan Fisse 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles. Cole Skinner and Brady Sentz lost to Reece Beaver and Jack McKinsey 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Asher Morin and Lucius Stidham fell to Reece Chapman and Brody Sanders 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
