HOPE — Hauser came closer in each set Tuesday, but dropped a 25-14, 25-15, 25-19 decision to Morristown in its Mid-Hoosier Conference volleyball opener.
Kaidenze Shoaf led the Jets (3-12, 0-1) with 10 digs and five aces. Charleston Gelfius pounded four kills, Leah Manley recorded nine assists and Kaycie Kistler served five aces.
Also for Hauser, Shoaf tallied three kills and one block; and Maley Jordan added two kills, two assists six digs and three aces. Manley notched nine digs, and Gelfius had one block.
