East Central won all five matches in straight sets Wednesday in handing Columbus East a 5-0 boys tennis defeat.
Tyler Ernst fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Owen Kirk lost 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and Micah Wettschurack fell 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (3-8).
East’s Trevor Ernst and Michael Reed lost 7-6 (5), 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Jonas Newell and Carson Hartsook fell 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
