FLOYDS KNOBS — Floyd Central won the No. 1 singles match by forfeit and the other four in straight sets in a 5-0 boys tennis win against Jennings County on Wednesday.
Parker Bales was trailing 7-5, 3-1 at No. 1 singles when he had to retire. Ty Zohrlaut fell to Preston Bickel 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Lucius Stidham lost to Evan Loftus 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (5-6).
Jennings’ Cole Skinner and Luke Napier fell to Alex Eichenberger and Joseph Howell 6-0, 6-1 at N0. 1 doubles. Brady Sentz and Asher Morin lost to Commor Himmer and Elliott Nannel 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
