BLOOMFIELD — Brown County came closer in each set Thursday, but dropped a 25-11, 25-13, 25-17 volleyball decision at Eastern Greene.
Aubree Denton recorded six kills and one ace, and Grace Johnson had five assists and one ace to lead the Eagles (1-6). Zoe Jackson notched 16 digs.
Also for Brown County, Johnson and Emmy Oswald each pounded two kills, and Denton and Jackson each tallied four assists. Denton and Johnson each added nine digs.
