INDIANAPOLIS – In preparation for flu season, Franciscan Health is offering multiple drive-thru flu shot clinics, which will be open to the public across Central Indiana beginning Sept. 14.
Patients ages 6 months and older can receive a flu vaccination. Patients 5 years and older can also receive the COVID vaccine. Available vaccines include COVID as eligible, shingles, pneumonia and flu (high-dose, egg-free, flu mist and trivalent options).
The flu shot clinics being held in Central Indiana include:
- Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Franciscan Physician Network Indiana Heart Physicians, located at 5330 East Stop 11 Road in Indianapolis, on the west side of the building, under the awning.
- Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Franciscan Health Mooresville Pavilion, located at 1001 Hadley Road in Mooresville, in front of the Medical Pavilion building, under the awning.
- Sunday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Franciscan WorkingWell, located at 747 East County Line Road in Greenwood, in the parking lot.
- Sunday, Sept. 22 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Franciscan Physician Network Beech Grove Family Medicine, located at 2030 Churchman Ave. in Beech Grove, in the parking lot.
- Sunday, Oct. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Franciscan Health at Stones Crossing, located at 1703 West Stones Crossing Road in Greenwood, outside, in parking lot on west side of the building.
- Thursday, Oct. 10 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Franciscan Physician Network Columbus Primary & Specialty Care, located at 123 2nd St. in Columbus, in the parking lot.
- Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Franciscan Health Carmel Ortho Hospital, located at 10777 Illinois St. in Carmel, on the back side of the parking garage/east side of the property.
- Sunday, Oct. 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Franciscan Physician Network Plainfield Family Medicine, located at 315 Dan Jones Road, Suite 150 in Plainfield, in the parking lot.
Those attending the drive-thru clinics are asked to dress appropriately to receive a vaccine, bring their insurance card and be prepared to complete paperwork. Those with no insurance or self-pay will be charged $40 by cash, check or debit card. If requesting the COVID vaccine, bring proof of vaccination. Other charges could apply.
