SCOTTSBURG — Jennings County won the No. 1 singles match Monday, but Scottsburg took the other four to post a 4-1 boys tennis victory.
Parker Bales blanked Johan Copple 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles for the Panthers (7-9).
Jennings’ Ty Zohrlaut fell to Erwan Le Lannic 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Lucius Stidham lost to Jace Luttrell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Cole Skinner and Luke Napier fell to Noah Bagwell and Jarin Luttrell 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, and Brady Sentz and Asher Morin lost to Sammy Craig and Carson Jones 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
