GREENSBURG — South Decatur overcame a light breaking in the main gym and being forced to move to the middle school gym to cruise to a 25-16, 25-8, 25-17 volleyball win against Crothersville on Monday.
Makayla Somers recorded 26 assists, four blocks and five aces; and Zsophia Sharp had nine kills and four blocks to lead the Cougars (11-2). Elizabeth Bennett notched 12 digs.
Also for South Decatur, Paige McQueen tallied seven kills and eight digs, and Aniston Bostic pounded seven kills. Taylor Somers had two blocks and seven digs, McQueen added two blocks and Sharp and Bennett each served two aces.
