Woodmen shut out Olympians

GREENWOOD — Greenwood scored in the opening minute Monday and went on to post a 4-0 girls soccer win against Columbus East.

The Woodmen outshot the Olympians (1-9) 20-4. Emma Christie played the first half in goal and recorded four saves, and Cara Veach posted five second-half saves.

East will host Jennings County for senior night on Wednesday and will host Hauser for Youth Night on Thursday. Parks and rec and Columbus Express Soccer Club players wearing their jerseys will be admitted free of charge on Thursday.
