Columbus police say the accident scene at Franklin and 25th streets is now clear and accident reconstructionists have left the scene.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police and firefighters are investigating a four-vehicle accident at the intersection of Franklin and 25th streets that occurred around 1 p.m., and has blocked 25th Street from Washington Street past Franklin.
Two vehicles collided just beyond the intersection on 25th Street and another vehicle collided with a parked motorcycle in the front yard of a home near the intersection of 25th and Franklin streets after the collision.
Motorists are cautioned to avoid the area as 25th Street from Franklin to Washington is completely blocked. The Republic will update this story when 25th Street reopens.
A 96-year-old man in the beige Toyota van is being transported by Lifeline helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital.
A 38-year-old female in the white Nissan van was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 68-year-old female in the silver Honda suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Columbus firefighters and Columbus Township firefighters are assisting at the scene.
