Sept. 20

Orchids to

Dr. Francis and the surgery team at Columbus Regional Hospital for taking such good care of me during my surgery earlier this week.

the Republic editorial denouncing book banning.

the Jazz Series on 4th Street with Pavel & Direct Contact. If you weren’t there, too bad, because you missed one of the best shows in quite a while.

Dan and Bob for the prompt repair of the gate and the relocation of the lock box at the Donner Pickleball Court.

Onions to

the political party that shows no limits on how low they will sink to insult the opposition candidates’ personal life, including their children.

elected officials commenting about incorrect information spreading on social media who did not note that their own party is “creating” the very incorrect information stories that are driving violence and bomb threats, and that it should stop.

the candidates that keep proclaiming that all childless women, including stepmoms and even nuns, are less than whole people.

people who don’t realize if you’re a salaried employee there is no “whole weekend off” if you’re needed.

not re-striping and marking the most convoluted, ill-designed street in Columbus, 17th Street which is now becoming dangerous to drive on with its lack of markings.

whoever has so little going on their life that they have to complain about people parking work trailers and boats on their own property.

the governor of Arkansas for her comment on not having biological children which is a dumb, tasteless, below the belt, personal attack on the female presidential candidate.

the candidate who answers serious questions with only vague generalities.

Happy Birthday to

Pam Newland, from Darla and Jeff.
