MADISON — The Jennings County girls golfers finished fourth in Saturday’s Madison Sectional, missing a regional qualifying spot by only four shots.
Madison (367), Switzerland County (413) and Scottsburg (426) claimed the three team-qualifying spots. The Panthers finished with a 430.
Grace Oden led Jennings with a 101 and claimed the third-and-final individual qualifying spot to the Sept. 28 Franklin Regional. Amilia Gresham carded a 104, Shelby Davis added a 110, Temprance Eggleston shot 115 and Aslynn Hopkins had a 117.
