IU Columbus rallied with two goals in the final nine minutes Monday to finish in a 2-2 women’s soccer tie against Georgetown (Kentucky).
Trailing 2-0, Logan Bierman scored off an assist by Cyanne St. Bernard in the 82nd minute. St. Bernard then scored the tying goal off an assist from goalkeeper and Columbus North graduate Mallory Gilley in the 85th minute.
Georgetown outshot the Crimson Pride 28-7, putting 16 shots on goal to six for IUC. Gilley recorded 14 saves.
IUC (2-2-1) will host West Virginia Tech at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the opener of a women’s-men’s doubleheader.
