NEW ALBANY — Columbus East took a 4-0 loss Thursday at New Albany to finish seventh in the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament
Tyler Ernst fell to Sam Seigel 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Owen Kirk lost to Corbin Crone 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Michael Reed fell to Asher Chandury 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (3-17).
East’s Jonas Newell and Carson Hartsook lost to Benton Hamilton and Kingston Pearce 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Trevor Ernst and Micah Wettschurack were trailing Cooper Anderson and Caleb Bradshaw 5-3 in the first set when the match was called because of rain.
