Bloomington South blanks Bull Dogs for Conference Indiana title

BLOOMINGTON — Class 3A No. 8 Bloomington South clinched the Conference Indiana boys soccer title with a 1-0 win against 3A No. 10 Columbus North on Thursday.

The Panthers scored the game’s lone goal in the fourth minute. The Bull Dogs (8-4-1, 2-1) had a couple of chances after that, but couldn’t convert.

North outshot Bloomington South 14-10, but the Panthers put six shots on goal to two for the Bull Dogs. Juan Jose Salcedo Calderon recorded four saves, and defender Bryan Rodriguez had a non-goalkeeper save.
