Columbus Christian took a 25-21, 25-20, 25-19 loss to Christian Academy of Madison Thursday in the semifinals of the ICSAA South Regional.
Emma Murray led the Crusaders with nine kills, 16 digs and four aces. Abby Dora recorded nine assists, and Bella Frederickson had one block.
Also for Columbus Christian, Bella Frederickson notched six kills and two aces, and Mara Nickerson had three kills and four assists. Dora tallied 11 digs, Emma Rice added 10 digs and Katie Bond served two aces.
The season isn’t over for the Crusaders. They finish the regular season Thursday at Crothersville and will play in the National Association of Christian Athletes Tournament Oct. 22-26 in Dayton, Tennessee.
